Cruises

The southern route in 8 or10 Days, along the part of the Turkish coast called the Lycian coast starting from Göcek marina located at a short distance from Dalaman airport and finishing in Göcek marina.

The northern route in 8 or 10 Days, starting in Marmaris and finishing in Marmaris.

The Greek route starts in Kos and ends in the medieval city of Rhodes in 8 or 10 Days.

Of course, if you are familiar with the area and want to visit a specific place, the suggested ports can be changed with the captain’s advise and approval.

Southern Cruise

Göcek Dalaman 8 Days

Day 1

Reception at Dalaman airport, arrival and reception on board at the end of the day, presentation of your crew, the passengers settle in their cabins, demonstration of the safety rules, welcome cocktail

Day 2

In the morning, departure and sail to Ekincik bay and its small Turkish village at the bottom of the bay

Day 3

In the morning, a local fishing boat will take us to Caunus , an ancient Greek city dating back to the 4th century BC. The Romans , the Byzantines and the Ottomans succeeded to the Greeks and today a small village called Dalyan, facing the ruins of Caunus, stretches along the river banks, offering a breathtaking view of magnificent Lycian tombs carved in the mountain. From the terrace of the restaurant where we will have lunch we will admire the beautiful rock cut tombs of the Lycian kings. After the visit of Caunus our fishing boat will take us back to the Black Hawk.

Day 4

Early morning we will sail to the island St Nicholas. St Nicholas was a bishop of the Byzantine Church and is at the origin of the legend of Santa Claus……... You will visit the ruins of the Byzantine church on top of the island and from there have a fantastic view of the coast and the sea.

Day 5

On the fifth day, we will sail to Kaş, (4h30 sailing) a charming Lycian city facing the island of Castellorizo. The small, lively harbor is only a few steps from lovely craft shops and Lycian sarcophagi.

Day 6

From St Nicholas we will sail to Kalkan.The harbor is at the bottom of the old town which was Greek until 1923 . It is a pleasure to visit its narrow streets, craft shops and charming scenic restaurants.

Day 7

İn the morning we will sail to Fethiye bay where Roman ruins abound and we will drop anchor in one of the prettiest coves called Cleopatra’s bath.

Day 8

in the morning we will sail back to Göcek marina and our passengers will leave the boat for Dalaman airport

On the sixth day, we will sail to Kaş, a charming Lycian Carian city facing the island of Castellorizo. The small, bustling harbor is only a few steps from lovely craft shops and Lycian sarcophagi. ( 4 hours sailing)

Day 7

In the morning we will sail to Kekova, ancient Greek Simena. Kaleköy, litereally the Castle’s village, is overlooked by a Byzantine castle built in the Middle Ages by an Italian crusader knight. Üç Ağız village lies amidst a Lycian necropolis partially sunken underwater. Dinner in one of the typical scenic restaurants will be a pleasant experience

Day 8

In the morning we will sail back to Kalkan and drop anchor in the most beautiful surroundings

Day 9

In the morning we shall sail back to Fethiye bay and drop anchor at Wall bay for the night. ( 3 hours sailing)

Northern cruises

Marmaris Marmaris 8 days

Day 1

Reception on board the Black Hawk in Marmaris . The beautiful bay surrounded by pine forests has become a sailing centre. In the 6th century BC it was known as Physkos and belonged to Rhodes. The castle dating back to 3000 BC was a Greek base, the fort was then destroyed by the Persian army of King Darius, rebuilt by the Romans, it was destroyed again by the Mongols of Temur Khan and finally rebuilt by the Ottomans who protected their fleet in the bay. The large promenade on the waterfront offers a wide choice of restaurants, shops and night life spots.

Day 2

In the morning we will sail to Kumlubükü bay to swim and have lunch in an excellent restaurant beach. We will then sail to Ekincik for a swim and dinner .( 2 hours sailing )

Day 3

Day 4

Early morning we will sail to Kadirga Bay (2 hours sailing) then to Loryma . ( 2 hours and 30 minutes sailing. Loryma was a Greek town and harbour on the coast of Caria, opposite to and twenty miles from the island of Rhodes to whom it belonged, It was fortified and belonged to the Rhodians. This bay is one of the largest on this entire coast and due to its strategic situation it served as an observation post to watch the boats on their way north or south. The view is spectacular from the well preserved ruins of the towers, tombs and ramparts of the fortress overlooking the bay. A couple of restaurants offer typical local dishes.

Day 5

In the morning we shall sail from Loryma to Dirsek Bükü (2 hours sailing), a beautiful bay with crystal clear waters. From the stone terraces of the restaurant we will enjoy the view and the excellent food.

Day 6

in the morning we will sail to Bencik (45 minutes sailing) and Selimiye Bencik’s fjord stretches inland between pine forests. The small village of Selimiye has become a sailing centre, the lovely promenade on the waterfront is animated by cafes, craft shops, boutiques and excellent restaurants.

Day 7

In the morning we will sail to the beautiful Bozburun bay. (2 hours sailing) Bozburun village is the only settlement of the bay, it has a pleasant waterfront, good shopping for local craft and a variety of restaurants.

Day 8

In the morning we will sail from Bozburun to the bay of Serçe for a swim and lunch (2 hours 30 minutes) and then to Marmaris ( 2 hours 30 minutes). Departure from the Black Hawk to Dalaman airport.

Marmaris Dalaman 10 days

Day 1

Reception on board the Black Hawk in Marmaris . The beautiful bay surrounded by pine forests has become a sailing centre. In the 6th century BC it was known as Physkos and belonged to Rhodes. The castle dating back to 3000 BC was built by the Greeks, destroyed and rebuilt by the Romans, destroyed and rebuilt by the Knights of St John and finally used by the Ottoman fleet of Sultan Suleyman who besieged Rhodes seven years until its fall. We will sail to Ekincik for a swim and dinner. (3 hours sailing)

Day 2

In the morning, a local fishing boat will take us to Caunus , an ancient Greek city dating back to the 4th century BC ; the Romans thxxxxxxxxe Byzantine and the Ottomans succeeded to the Greeks and today a small village called Dalyan, facing the ruins of Caunus, stretches along the river banks, offering a breathtaking view of magnificent Lycian tombs carved in the mountain. From the terrace of the restaurant where we will have lunch we will admire the beautiful rock cut tombs of the Lycian kings. Day 3

Early morning we will sail to Kadirga Bay (2 hours sailing), the light house at the entrance of the bay of Marmaris then to Loryma bay. Loryma was a large town and harbor on the coast of Caria, opposite to and twenty miles from the island of Rhodes. It was fortified and belonged to the Rhodians. On several occasions the Greek fleet used this fortified bay, most of the fleet of Alexander the Great regrouped in Loryma before sailing to Egypt.The view is spectacular from the well preserved ruins of the towers, tombs and ramparts of the fortress overlooking the bay.A couple of restaurants offer typical local dishes.

Day 4

In the morning we will sail from Loryma to Dirsek Bükü ( 2 hours sailing), a beautiful bay with crystal clear waters. From the stone terraces of the restaurant we will enjoy the view and the excellent food.

Day 5

Late morning after swimming and, for the more sportive water skiing, lunch on board and afternoon sail to Selimiye. The small village of Selimiye has become a sailing centre, the lovely promenade on the waterfront is animated by cafes, craft shops, boutiques and excellent restaurants.

Day 6

In the morning we will sail to Bozburun harbor to leave Turkey (2 hours sailing) and sail to the beautiful and renown island of Simi a few miles across the channel. The evenings in Simi harbor are to be remembered.

Day 7

The following day we shall sail back to Turkey and the magnificent bay of Bozburun ( 1 hour and 30 minutes). Bozburun village is the only settlement of the bay, it has a pleasant waterfront, good shopping for local craft and a variety of restaurants.

Day 8

The next morning we will sail from Bozburun to the bay of Serçe for a swim and dinner.( 2 hours sailing).

Day 9

In the morning we will sail from Serçe to the pretty Kumlubükü beach for a swim and lunch (2 hours and thirty minutes sailing ) and then sail to Marmaris for the night. ( 45 minutes sailing) The large promenade on the waterfront offers a wide choice of restaurants, shops and night life spots.

The Greek route

Kos to the Medieval city of Rhodes 8 days

Day 1

Kos – Leros Reception on the boat at Kos Marina. We will then sail to Leros island( 2 hours sailing ) and its beautiful bays. Panteli harbor is a fishing village on the west coast of Leros. Leros followed the fate or the rest of the Dodecanese islands during the Hellenistic period and the Roman, Byzantine, Ottoman, Italian years. The Knights of St John built the Castle of St Mary overlooking Panteli. The port is lively, with local tavernas and fish restaurants.

Day 2

Leros Panteli – Kalimnos ( 2,5 hours sailing) In the morning we will sail to Kalimnos , the mountainous island of the sponge divers and drop anchor in one of its spectacular bays

Day 3

Kalimnos – Niseros (3 hours sailing) The next morning we will sail to the volcanic island of Niseros.( 3 hours sailing) Ancient walls dating to the 5th century BC, part of the acropolis of the island are found near the harbor. It is a thoroughly pleasant excursion to the crater where there is a spectacular view of the surrounding sea and islands

Day 4

Niseros – Tilos (3 hours sailing) We will sail to Tilos , a pretty island with attractive beaches and good beach restaurants ashore.

Day 5

Tilos – Simi Thessalona ( 2h 30’ sailing) – Simi harbor (35 ‘ sailing) In the morning we will sail to Thessalona bay ( St Georges in French). The magnificent precipitous cliffs drop-dead into the sea at the head of the bay. In the afternoon we will sail to Simi harbor.

Day 6

Simi harbor – Simi Seskli (1h.30’ sailing) In the morning we will sail to Seskli, a group of tiny, attractive deserted islets at the southern tip of the island.

Day 7

Simi Seskli – Rhodes (2 hours sailing) After lunch we will sail to Mandraki, the ancient harbor of Rhodes.

Day 8

Kos to the Medieval city of Rhodes 10 days

Day 7

Simi harbor – Simi Seskli (1h.30’ sailing) In the morning we will sail to Seskli, a group of tiny, attractive deserted islets at the southern tip of the island.

Day 8

Simi Seskli – Lindos Early morning we will cross the channel between Simi and Rhodes (3 hours sailing) and sail south to Lindos along the eastern shore of the island.( 2 hours sailing) Lindos was the principal city of the island until the foundation of Rhodes in the 3thh century BC. The Hellenistic acropolis was fortified successively by the Greeks, the Romans,the Byzantines, the Knights of St John and the Ottomans. The acropolis, withing the medieval castle perched on a roc offers a uniquely beautiful view on the surrounding land and sea.

Day 9

Lindos – Rhodes In the morning we will sail to Mandraki , the ancient harbor of Rhodes. ( 2 hours saiing) After lunch, we will visit the medieval city.

Day 10

Departure from the Black Hawk to Rhodes airport.
